Eurescom Audio Conferencing is an essential communication service for collaborative projects. It has proven its efficiency in several hundred Eurescom projects and a number of EU FP5,FP6 and FP7 projects like FIRE STATION, TA2, and EARTH. The service is fully automated and available 24/7. This means, audio conferences can be flexibly set up without the need for reserving lines. Each audio conference has a permanent phone number and a permanent dial-in ID. Larger projects usually have separate permanent audio conferences for each work package of the project.

The audio conferences can be scheduled via a web-based front-end, which will be specifically implemented for the project. This front-end helps the coordinator and the work package leaders to plan audio conferences and keep track of conference dates and participants.
