Empowering the knowledge worker
 

Knowledge workers are flooded with information. So far, information and communication technologies have  mainly increased the volume and accessibility of information. But information is not knowledge. After the information revolution we now need a knowledge revolution.

In order to empower knowledge workers, technology will play a crucial role. In this issue of Eurescom mess@ge we will present some of the technological trends currently explored in European research and industry, with a particular focus on the results of results from FP7 research project ACTIVE.
