Integration of web-services to business processes
Chair: Thanh van Do, Telenor

Web Services are often atomic and simple operations. In order to realise more advanced services it is necessary to combine them in a determined way. Unfortunately, the set of standards for Web Services (XML, SOAP; WSDL and UDDI) does not provide the means for orchestration, i.e. to describe the collaboration of Web Services. This session will give an overviewof the different methods and specifications for orchestration of web services to a higher value service, and show how Web Services can be integrated into business processes. It will also present an approach for how the whole service lifecycle can be effectively managed.
