Abstract:

P614 EURESCOM Project (Implementation Strategies for Advanced Access Networks) is organising a three days workshop with the aim to get information in the Home Networking area from companies active in the field and to disseminate the Project results.

The first two days of the TRIBAN Workshop will cover all aspects of Home Networks (residential communication, including broadband, narrowband, and control communications). It will consider also future solutions. On the third day results from the P614 and other EURESCOM Projects will be presented.

Registration

Registration for the Workshop should be made using the attached form, exclusively in advance to the meeting. There will be no on-site registration. There will be no fee for attending the Workshop. Participation is allowed to EURESCOM Shareholders and invited people from manufacturers and other International Organisations.

To obtain fruitful discussions in an informal atmosphere, attendance will be limited. The closing date for returning registration forms will be Friday 30th October 1998. Attendance will be confirmed by 6 November 1998. Please accept restrictions to the number of participants which may need to be applied.

Attendance

Participation is targeted at network operators and selected system suppliers for Home Network equipment. EURESCOM P614 and other Projects will present their results.

The Workshop will be held on 17th and 18th November 1998 at the Swisscom Headquarters in the Corporate Information & Technology Auditorium, ground floor, at Ostermundigenstrasse 93 in Bern. (bus No. 10, direction „Ostermundigen", „Waldegg"-stop). On the 19th of November 1998, the meeting will be held at Headquarters Conference room 0-9, Viktoriastrasse 21 (bus No. 10, direction „Ostermundigen", „Schönburg"-stop)
