On 12 May 2016, the first SELFNET Advisory Board meeting took place at the University of the West of Scotland in Glasgow, UK during the 4th Plenary Meeting.
At the meeting, board members discussed with the consortium the approach, main objectives and envisaged innovations of SELFNET. Based on presentations and demonstrations by SELFNET partners, the board members provided useful comments for the further work of the project.

Board members are Sana Ben Jemaa, Research engineer on Self-Organizing Networks and Cognitive Radio from Orange Labs France; Hans Einsiedler, Senior project manager from Deutsche Telekom Laboratories; Curt Beckmann, Chief Technology Architect for EMEA at Brocade, who joined via Web conference; and Gert Grammel, Network Strategy expert at Juniper, who couldn’t attend the meeting but provided comments on initial project results beforehand.
The board members combine profound industry expertise on technological and business aspects of SELFNET’s work, and thus help the project increase its impact.
