Dr. Mohamed Selim joined Eurescom GmbH as a Senior Program Manager in July, 2026.
He holds a doctoral degree from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and has more than 13 years of experience in research and innovation, with extensive involvement in European collaborative research and innovation (R&I) projects. Before joining Eurescom, he worked at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), where he progressed from PhD researcher to project manager, contributing to numerous Horizon Europe and national research initiatives.
His technical background includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, 3D reconstruction, virtual reality (VR), edge computing, and distributed intelligent systems. His expertise includes European project management, consortium coordination, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, and research dissemination. He combines scientific expertise with strong organizational and management skills to support the successful execution of complex international collaborative projects.
