Dr. Mohammad Al-Naser is a Project Manager at Eurescom with over 15 years of professional experience spanning artificial intelligence, project management, applied research, collaborative R&D projects, business model development, teaching, and higher education.
Before joining Eurescom, he worked at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), where he led and contributed to research and innovation projects in cooperation with academic and industrial partners.
He holds a Dr.-Ing. in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, a Master of Science in Interactive Systems Engineering from Umeå University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
His technical expertise includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, video analysis, eye-tracking and gaze analysis, time-series analysis, wearable sensing, multimodal data fusion, and human-centered AI.
His experience also covers project planning and coordination, milestone and risk management, stakeholder communication, proposal development, business model development, technology transfer, commercialization, and AI product development.
In addition, he has several years of teaching and academic supervision experience, including university-level teaching, course and syllabus design, student assessment, project-based learning, and supervision of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students.
